Events

The Reno church has activities designed to help members get to know one another. Potlucks are popular in the summer and members enjoy dining together in Reno/Sparks area restaurants.

Activities based on a member's specialty or unique interest are always popular with members. The Ghosts of Buildings Past tour and luncheon in Virginia City is a good example, as has been camping trips.

Special speakers are occasionally brought in to address the church on Sunday, and if possible, provide a workshop. For instance, the Reverend Hoyt Z. Robinette served the church and demonstrated Billet Reading and precipitation phenomena.

Classes are often offered for subjects of interest such as spiritual healing and mediumship. Church members often host discussion groups and dedicated circles in their home.
